Terms and Conditions

  1. Terms and Conditions
    1. The www.parityonline.co.uk and www.inkompatibles.co.uk websites (the "Website") is owned and operated by Parity Online Limited (Registered in England No. 06491093).
    2. All of the goods on this Website are offered by Parity Online Limited ("we/us"), which will be the contracting party for any order that you place.
    3. These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all transactions for the sale of goods on the Website. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.
    4. We may change these terms and conditions at any time. Any change will take effect from the date posted on the website.

  2. Prices and Promotions
    1. All prices displayed in the store include VAT at 17.5% unless you are specially registered and logged in as a trade user.
    2. Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the Website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mis-priced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order, or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.
    3. We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods on the Website at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we accept your order.

  3. Ordering
    1. You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you submit your order by clicking the "Submit Order To Us" button on the check out page.
    2. All orders made by you through the Website are subject to acceptance by us. We may choose not to accept your order for any reason and will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances.
    3. After submitting an order to us you will be sent an order acknowledgement e-mail with your order number and details of the goods that you have ordered. Please note this email is an acknowledgement and is not an acceptance of your order.
    4. For certain goods, information concerning stock availability is not available on the Website. If you order goods, which are not available from stock, we will contact you by e-mail and you will have the option to wait until the goods are available from stock, or cancel your order in accordance with our cancellation and returns policy. In the event your order is cancelled, we will refund any payment already collected from you in respect of that order, in accordance with our cancellation and returns policy.
    5. Any e-mail or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order placed by you does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order. Acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract between us will take place when goods you have ordered have been despatched to you.

  4. Right to Withdraw Goods
    1. We reserve the right to withdraw any goods from the Website at any time.
    2. We will not be liable to you or anyone else for withdrawing any goods from the Website.

  5. Payment
    1. Payment can be made by most major credit or debit cards as displayed. Payment will be debited from your account on the same day as despatch of the goods to you.
    2. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment we will not accept your order and we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery and we are not obliged to inform you of the reason for the refusal.
    3. We are not responsible for your card issuer or bank charging you as a result of our processing of your credit/debit card payment in accordance with your order.
    4. Where applicable, payment made by cheque or postal order will need to be cleared prior to the despatch of goods.

  6. Delivery and Risk
    1. We despatch the items ordered by you using the method of delivery specified. For orders that contain items that are out of stock there will be no option for separate despatch. The delivery charges are as set out in the following paragraphs.
    2. Orders received before 15:00 are normally despatched the same working day. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
    3. All orders will be despatched using Royal Mail. Royal Mail aims to deliver First Class post in 1-2 days and Second Class post in 3-4 days. Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery; if your order has not arrived in this time, please contact us at orders@parityonline.co.uk.
    4. We cannot be held responsible if the delivery address given is incorrect.
    5. We will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the estimated delivery times are met but we cannot accept any liability for late deliveries, which are due to circumstances outside of our reasonable control.
    6. Once you have received the goods, all risk of damage to, or loss of, the goods shall pass to you. If you intend to cancel your order in accordance with the cancellation and returns policy, you must keep good care of the goods pending their return to us.
    7. You will be liable for goods incurring customs charges.

    4. Orders over 1kg in weight may be despatched as more than one package if the Second Class delivery option is chosen.

  8. Cancellation & Returns
    1. Legal compliance
This returns and refunds policy is in accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive which came into force in October 2000 and is part of UK law under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. This law applies to all transactions within the UK where a consumer does not meet the vendor. Contracts between businesses are not governed by these regulations.
    2. Your rights as a consumer
You have a 14 day 'cooling off period' in which you have the right to cancel your purchase and receive a full refund, subject to any delivery costs we have incurred. You do not need to give a reason for canceling your purchase. We are obliged to refund your payment in full within 30 days of your cancellation. All products should be returned unused, unopened and in a re-saleable condition.
    3. How to cancel within the 14 day cooling off period
Should you wish to cancel your purchase within the 14 days 'cooling off' period, please email us at orders@parityonline.co.uk. Please tell us your name, address, order number and payment transaction ID.
    4. Refunds due to cancellation
Should you cancel your purchase with this 14 day 'cooling off' period, we will refund your payment in full, subject to any delivery costs we have incurred. If your order qualified for free postage then we will refund minus the normal shipping charge (based upon weight) without the free shipping discount once the remaining value of your order is below the qualifying value. If you paid by credit or debit card from this website, your refund will be made directly to your credit or debit card within 30 days of your cancellation. If you paid by any other means, your refund will be made by cheque which will be posted to you within 30 days of your cancellation. All products should be returned unused, unopened and in a re-saleable condition.
    5. Returns and refunds outside the 14 day 'cooling off' period
We offer a 30-day 'no quibble' guarantee on all compatible and remanufactured ink cartridges that have been sold on this Website and that do not meet your expectations of quality. The same terms as the 14 day 'cooling off' period will apply for postage and refunds. Refunds for unwanted goods and goods not covered by the 'no quibble' guarantee will only be made where the goods are returned unused, unopened and in re-saleable condition. Unwanted goods must be returned to us within 14 days of delivery.
    6. Returning unwanted goods
Unwanted goods should be returned within 14 days of delivery. You should post them, unopened and undamaged, to:

      Parity Online Limited
      PO Box 189
      Brompton-on-Swale
      Richmond
      North Yorkshire
      DL10 9BJ

We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged during transit. You are advised to wrap the product carefully to avoid damage. You are also advised to return goods by recorded delivery, registered post, or by courier. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Please remember to give us your name and address, transaction number and a copy of your purchase receipt. Please note that the cost of returning unwanted items is your responsibility.
    7. Refunds for unwanted goods
Providing that we receive unwanted goods in unused, unopened and re-saleable condition within 14 days of delivery, we will refund payment for the goods less postage costs. Orders placed by credit or debit card from this website will be refunded directly to your credit or debit card. Orders placed by other means will be refunded by cheque. Refunds will be made within 30 days of return of goods.
    8. Damaged / Faulty Goods on Receipt
If the goods are incorrect, damaged or faulty on receipt, please keep the goods together with the packaging and contact us immediately for guidance. The e-mail address to use is orders@parityonline.co.uk.

    1. We take security very seriously, which is why we have chosen to use online credit card processing facilities provided by SecureHosting.
    2. SecureHosting is the preferred payment gateway of SafeBuy – the UK’s leading accreditation scheme for web retailers.

    4. The SecureHosting servers are certified by The USERTRUST Network, a public Certificate Authority. The USERTRUST Network has customers such as Microsoft, NASA and Sony.
    5. It is now known that Internet transactions through systems such as SecureHosting are inherently more secure than other methods of making purchases in 'cardholder not present' situations such as telesales, or when giving a card to a waiter in a restaurant.
    6. Your online purchase from us will take place in real time, and we will never see your credit card details. You can have confidence that our online purchasing facilities are secure and safe to use.

  10. Severance
    1. Each provision of these Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be construed separately and independently of each other and the validity of any one part shall not affect the validity of any other part.

  11. Law
    1. These Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We are required by law to inform you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
